Hi Feodor!
Cool idea with the bubbles, I actually liked the 4th one just because it IS out of focus... The DOF makes it very nice too.

I could see that you're using lightroom gallery. Take a look at a modification of mine to enable nicer looking comments!

Yes, you are right - this is a great market niche. If someone picks up this idea, they can make millions from thanking IT people. And after the Thanking business slows down, then someone else can develop a gift pack for "not so good IT people" (which might include: chilli peppers, spoiled milk and so on). LOL LOL LOL

At the time it seemed a bit funny to me, though: the first thing that came to mind was how the receptionist goes online to find out what the Bulgarian flag looks like, and then starts searching in a box with over 200 flags to find the right one. :) But I do appreciate the gesture, of course.

Hi,

This is great question. The reason for the same is when Plan is build the cost base algorithm only includes the resources in the count which are IO and CPU. You can right click on algorithm and see it. However, it does use memory to estimate how much memory it needs to execute the process. In fact the allocation of the memory only happens during the last state and it is based on how much memory SQL Server has allocated and available. This can easily vary on different system.

When you executed Query you do get the answer of the same but it can vary when the same plan is ran again. (I believe so, if anybody think of better answer, pls correct me).

Kind Regards,
Pinal

You can get hot dogs and beer at many other places that are 1: less crowded and 2: more interesting.

I agree that it is a boring sport, and the only reason I can think for it being so popular with the masses, is that the players are just as fat as the supporters.

Vivek, what I would recommend first is to check that your SQL Agent is running under a proper account and that it starts up properly. (When you go to Services console, you can navigate to the SQL Agent service and see if it is up and running - to access the Services console just click 'Windows key'+Run and type services.msc).
Then check who your job owner is. The execution context of the job will vary depending on that (http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/dmauri/articles/6914.aspx).

Too easy!

The picture looks as a symbol for a bus very similar to a special kind of bus that was common in Stockholm when I was a kid.
Hum…..
Lets say that the bus is rolling forward.
In that case the answer is crystal clear: Right!

If one of the parameters are opposite the answer is left.
If both parameters are opposite the answer is right.

Right?

Obviously it is not moving at all. And actually it is not a bus but a picture of something. If we assume that scrolling of the page causes some kind of movement, than this "thing" is moving up and down.
